I honestly had high expectations of this book. And I’m extremely frustrated to say that I downright hated it. I couldn’t help but feel like it was a blunt (and quite frankly, dreadful) imitation of Twilight, Hush Hush, and A Thousand Pieces Of You. To be honest, I thought this would be my next favorite series, but it’s far from it.2
