My Life In Books Tag

my-life-in-books-tagI’d like to thank the wonderful Mandy @bookprincessreviews for tagging me! I had so much fun doing this one 😍😍

AGE – COUNT ALONG YOUR BOOKSHELF

My 17th book is Sarah Dessen’s Along For The Ride. A book that I’ve been wanting to pick up for a while now. Dessen’s books are always sweet and fluffy and never fail to fascinate me. 530158

BOOK THAT REPRESENTS A DESTINATION YOU WOULD LOVE TO TRAVEL TO

fullsizerender
Considering I’m only 17, I should say that I’m blessed to have traveled to a couple of pretty noteworthy places. I’ve been to France (Lyon and Paris), and the United States (LA, Manhattan and Las Vegas), I still consider The States as my favorite country yet, as I was born in Michigan but immediately went back to Lebanon afterwards. So I somehow consider the US as my second home. I know I’ve gotten totally off-point, but I’d say Andalusia, Spain is a place I’d want to visit to get out of my comfort zone. And from what I’ve read in Hannah Fielding’s Legacy, I’d say it’s one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

FAVORITE COLOR

Baby blue is probably my favorite color. And after I got the hardcover copy of Holding Up The Universe, I was stunned when I pulled back the book’s jacket to reveal a beautiful baby blue cover underneath. fullsizerender-1

MOST DIFFICULTY READING

I’d say The 5th Wave. It was vague at first, and sort of slow-paced. But the truth is, it has become one of my favorite books ever, and it had genuinely altered my view on life in general. It’s the kind of book you keep thinking about and unraveling its secrets and reading between its lines every second of every day. I absolutely loved it, but it had to be one of the most difficult reads. And what I realized -after discussing it with my friends- is that each person understands that specific book in their own way; which was absolutely incredible.

WHICH BOOK IN TBR PILE WILL YOU GET THE BIGGEST SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT FROM?

The Fever Code by James Dashner. The Maze Runner series has had a huge impact on my life and was one of the main reasons for my becoming the avid reader I am now, and although I’ve been waiting for this prequel for ages, I haven’t been able to get myself to read it yet.23267628

Okay, so many things. Okay, fine, just a few things. XD Number one: LUCKY that you got to use a TLC book for your name. 😉 Mandy doesn’t have any letters. D: Number two: I thought Along for the Ride was the cutest of the Sarah Dessen books I read, so I know you will enjoy. It’s so flufffffffy. Number three: that blue is so pretty. :O I think I want it just for that reason. And lastly, I might have to retry The Fifth Wave now. I had DNF’d because it was too slow, but if you went in that way and then ended up loving it, I might definitely have to regive it a try. Fantastic post, Nadwa! And I’m done with all of my things now. XD

Oh Gosh! Thank you so much!! Hey, let’s hope the sequel to Wires & Nerve will start with one of your initials 😂😍 And it’s been a while since I last read a Sarah Dessen book! I think I’ll be reading Along For The Ride soon, especially know that you’ve pointed out how good it is. And let me just say, cover aside, Holding Up The Universe was one of the BEST contemporaries I’ve read! I really recommend it. And finally, If you give The 5th Wave a shot, I’d literally be over Luna (see what I did there?), If you read the whole thing, I promise it won’t disappoint! You’ll love it, I’m positive 😍😍
